MOOD SWINGS

There was no plan. No palette. No perfect title waiting at the end.

Mood Swings is a collection built entirely on feeling — on letting the work happen rather than forcing it to behave. These are pieces that came from impulse, frustration, boredom, heartbreak, laughter, distraction, desire — sometimes all in one sitting. There’s no throughline, no narrative arc. Just emotion in its most unfiltered, abstract form.

Each piece in this series is a snapshot of a moment I didn’t try to clean up. Some are heavy. Some are loud. Some don’t seem to know what they are yet, and that’s kind of the point. The shapes clash. The colours argue. The textures don’t ask for harmony — they just take up space.

This is work made without an audience in mind. No pressure to explain, justify, or resolve. It’s messy. It's raw. It’s sometimes beautiful, sometimes chaotic, often both. But if you’ve ever felt like too much or not enough or everything all at once, you’ll recognise yourself here.
